The Most Influential Anglers in Float Tube Fishing

I was recently sent an email from George Nielsen, who runs FloatAngler.com. George has compiled a list of the folks that he feels like has most contributed and been influential in float tube fishing in his article “The Most Influential Anglers in Float Tube Fishing”. It was indeed an honor to find that George has chosen me as one of his recipients. To be on a list with some of the industry greats like Pat Scouten and Dave Scadden…was a real treat.

As you look at the list you will see that all of the group that has been nominated have contributed greatly to furthering both the industry involved with float tubing…and the love of float tubing itself. I would have to say that my contributions have come from giving folks the idea that float tubing is for sure a perfect medium for fly fishing.

Through the years some of my most memorable fly fishing moments/days have come atop a float tube or a float boat. I refer to my float tube when talking about fishing upon still waters and my float boat when fishing on moving waters, rivers….etc…. While I love any kind of water, my love for being in or on moving water, is quite frankly, second to none.

So, thanks again to George for including me in his list of ‘influential anglers in float tubing’!
