Redington Wading Boots – Product Review

If you are like me…having comfortable shoes is about as good as it gets; especially in the water when you are walking all day.
Redington wading boots
I recently purchased a pair of Redington Palix River Sticky-Rubber Wading Boots from Cabela’s, they were $89.99. I immediately put 10 studs in each boot for more traction, then made my way to the stream. For over an hour I sloshed through a local stream in search of smallmouth…and while I didn’t land but a few, I was very comfortable and stable the entire time.

On the walk back to the vehicle I noticed that I had already forgotten about the new boots…this was a great sign. I have now gone completely rubber with my boots and still worry about safety but Redington has used crushed walnuts in the soles to provide yet again more stability.

One more note….the inside of the boots have a thin layer of neoprene and honestly were as comfortable as any pair of boots (hunting or wading) that I have owned. So…if you are in the market for a new pair of wading boots…give the Redington Palix Boots a stern look…I think you will be happy with them.
