In today’s video I am fishing one of the three small lakes that I have within about a mile of my property here in Wisconsin. The wildlife is awesome as I have an up close encounter with a curious loon and watch as an eagle drops down into the lake to pick up its morning breakfast. Along the way I catch some bass and pike and share with you some fly fishing tips and techniques that I hope will help you to be a better fly fisherman while using your float tube.
The real beauty of a float tube is the quiet, serene setting …. no boats, no motors and frankly you can pack one with you no matter what size vehicle you drive. With little time you can pump up a tube, throw on a pair of kick fins, grab your favorite fly rod and make haste catching fish!
If you have any fly fishing or float tube questions … you can contact me by using the comment section at the bottom of this page or by emailing me at flyfishingwithjeff@gmail.com. I will do my best to quickly and accurately answer your questions.

The Highs and Lows of Fly Fishing
