Fall Fly Fishing for Largemouth Bass in Northern Wisconsin

Welcome back to another video adventure with Fly Fishing With Jeff. I love to keep it simple … and today it was both simple and elegant as I had my 8 wt fly rod along with my float tube and was toodling around my home lake in search of big large mouth bass. You see, fly fishing for largemouth bass, here in northern Wisconsin is one of my favorite things to do.
Skyline over the river in Wisconsin
As you will see from the video … it didn’t take long to get into some great action …. on my 3rd casts I was able to land a nice 17″ largemouth that really smacked my pucker lip fly. Soon after …. his twin also came and hit my fly and the rest as they say is history.

The weather and scenery were second to none and the warm hues of the ferns around the edge of the lake make for a very inviting photo. If ever given a chance to fish up north here in Wisconsin, don’t pass it up as the variety of fish goes on and on.Wisconsin Shoreline in September

I hope you can enjoy the serenity of the lake and maybe … it might just rev you up to get out there and get going …. remember that if you have a question you can place it in the comment section below or you can email me at flyfishingwithjeff@gmail.com and I will do my best to get back to you with the best answer I have ….. God Bless!
