Fly Tying the Pucker Lip Fly for Smallmouth Bass

Greetings and welcome to another fly tying video here at FlyFishingWithJeff.com. In today’s video I show you how to tie the Pucker Lip Fly. I use it for both smallmouth and largemouth bass here in Wisconsin and would assume you could do the same no matter where you are across our great country.
Pucker Tip Fly-1
The tie isn’t difficult, but will require some specific materials up front and I have shown you those materials while tying the fly. As you can see you can also make the Pucker Tip Fly in a wide variety of colors to better match your hatch back home.
Pucker Lip Fly-2
I love this Pucker Tip Fly because it closely resembles the baitfish that swim our streams and waters up here in Wisconsin plus it also makes a very nice sound … a ‘bloop’ that will alert the smallies for several feet in any direction, which you can see by watching a few of my past videos on the great topwater action for smallmouth bass.

If you have any questions please leave those in the comment section below or by emailing me at flyfishingwithjeff@gmail.com and I will do my best to get back to you with a good answer.

Poppers, Peace and a Bunch Of Nice Smallmouth

DR. SLICK To the Rescue
