The video here was shot on Sunday, May 25th. While they were racing just to my north…(In Indy), I was creek fishing for smallies and rock bass. It was a beautiful late spring day and the rock bass were eating and aggressive; some folks don’t like to fish for these smaller guys…I think they tend to hit like a freight train and are nice to look at. You will see in the video that at times I had to throw an upstream mend in the line to allow the fly to sink a bit deeper into the pools, when I do this it also tends to put the fly in the zone of the rock bass. Hope you enjoy and can get out and enjoy some creek fishing this spring/summer.
