This video is of a large bass caught on March 24th at a private pond in Greene County Indiana. The special thing about this fish is that I actually caught this same bass on April 17th of 2011 and had a mount done on the fish. For sure this is a great reason to take care of the fish after landing….handle with care and release un-harmed so that you can or might be able to once again catch a trophy. The fish was caught on a white streamer tied on a 60 degree bend hook. If you have not yet tied flies with a 60 degree bend…give it a try and you will find that the action you get is much different and may elicit a strike from the “big one”.
