Book a Float Tube Trip to NW Wisconsin

Hey folks …. Jeff here, hoping your Fall is going well wherever you may be; I’d like to take a minute to describe to you a service that I will be offering in 2023. I own 4 float tubes and 4 sets of kick fins and next year, 2023, I will be offering an opportunity for you to come to Northwestern Wisconsin and fly fish from a float tube in one of our literal thousands of lakes that are teeming with all sorts of fish; smallmouth, largemouth, pike, musky, perch, panfish … and the list goes on and on.

If you have never fished from a float tube, but have always wanted to … this is your opportunity to book a float tube trip … and, in fact, you can bring a group of up to four fly fishermen along on the trip. I live in a cabin in the NE corner of Burnett County, just a mile from Washburn County and three miles from Douglas County. In Burnett we have over 800 named lakes along with many smaller unnamed lakes … and they are just full of fish and waiting for you to shove off in a float tube and give them a go!
Float Tube Pic 1If you are a float tube person … then there really is no better place to make a journey to … than this part of Wisconsin where the air and water is as clean as it gets. Maybe, you have a float tube and need some fine tuning; I am the person who can help you become a better version of your current fishermen. You might even need some help with your casting or catching (landing) of fish … once again, I feel very confident that we can make you better in this aspect as well. We are located just an hour south of Duluth and about 2 hours northeast of the Twin Cities in Minnesota … should you choose to fly in and give it a go … both of these areas would get you just a short drive from our awesome lakes and waters.
Float Tube Pic 2I might add that the North Shore of Minnesota (Highway 61) is just a tad over an hour from us and if you haven’t yet experienced Lake Superior and the North Shore …. well, you really don’t know what you are missing. To our east, just a half hour away is the fun town of Hayward, Wisconsin. Hayward is known for many fun things to do …. in late July they hold the LumberJack/Jill World Championships … and this my friends, is one of the most fun events you could ever attend. Just 90 minutes north and east is the Bayfield Peninsula, home to the amazing Apostle Islands … where you can take a 4 hour cruise out onto Lake Superior and see the Apostle’s up close and personal!

I am going to be booking for the summer of 2023; I will start booking for the last half of May but primarily the best fishing is June 1st to the end of August. For 2023 my rate is going to be $150 per day, per rod and as I mentioned, I can handle a group of up to four. I will be available Friday through Sunday during these summer months …. so, if this is something you have wanted to do …. don’t hesitate; you can get in touch with me via my email address at flyfishingwithjeff@gmail.com to book a float tube trip.

So, think things over and start to look to 2023 a bit early. The waters and fish of NW Wisconsin are just waiting for you!
